The Demographics Report allows you to view profile information for groups of students - such as age, sex, race, etc. - in a visually dynamic way. To access the Demographics Report, go to the Reports page and choose Demographics, found underneath the four outcome dials as shown below.
Like all other reports in DYB, you can run the Demographics Report for different groups of students using Tags.
Sections included in the Demographics Report are drawn from questions asked on student Profile pages: Sex, Age, Race and Origin, Marital Status, Parent or Primary Caregiver, Homeless, Foster Care, Registered to Vote, Identifies as LGBTQ, Employed Before Entry, First Generation College Enrollee, Student has Disability, Economically Disadvantaged and English Language Learner.
Circles of different relational sizes show you at-a-glance how students can be categorized.
To see the exact percentages for each response, hover your mouse over any circle in the section.
To see the exact number of students included in the percentage calculation, hover your mouse over one of the response options.
To drill down and see a list of student’s names who are included, click on the blue category heading.
On the drill-down list you can sort further using the arrow next to the column names. You can also go to each student’s individual record by clicking on their name to view or update information.
