Some programs will find Fiscal Practices questions required as part of their DYB submission. These programs will be notified by the AmeriCorps or Mentoring teams at YouthBuild Global if their program is required to complete these questions. We are collecting this information to help improve our interactions with the field, to lift the collective fiscal capacity of the YouthBuild movement, and to ensure that YouthBuild Global grant making is aligned with programs most likely to succeed in our various funded initiatives.
Your program's lead fiscal staff person and the executive / program director should complete these questions in DYB. If they need a DYB account, here is how to add a user.

To access the Fiscal Practices questions in DYB, choose Model from the left side program menu.
Then click on the Fiscal Practices button near the top of the page.
How to Edit Fiscal Practices Questions
The number showing next to Fiscal Practices indicates the number of questions needing an answer (also known as "issues" in DYB). Each issue corresponds to a question highlighted in blue. In the example above, there are 55 issues which means 55 questions need to be answered.
To answer a question or change a previous response, click into the blue answer field.
The background of the form will change to yellow as you are editing. Click Save when you are done with each form.
